Testimonials

After a hip replacement, I consulted various experts to help me in returning as quickly as possible to an active life, and I found Daryl and the Alexander Technique the most useful. The Alexander teacher works to adjust bad habits in the way you use your whole body, not just the injured part, and also - unlike other healthcare professionals - teaches you how to take control for yourself over the daily use of your body, to become and remain pain-free. I still go to Daryl, to adjust bad habits when they reappear, but also because I find long-term use of the technique a very calming influence in difficult times.

Where do I start? I started taking lessons with Daryl a year ago.. and I only have positive things to share. Daryl is a very patient teacher - rare quality to be honest - and is truly an expert in his area. Very impressed with his commitment to Alexander technique and dedication in improving his clients.. even lended me a few of his rare books to help me in my journey further.. thank you mate!

Daryl has managed to sort out back problems that have been plaguing me since my teens. I am continuing to go to regular lessons, and I cannot recommend the Alexander technique and Daryl highly enough. Got to be experienced to really understand what it is about. I read a few books before my lessons, but now am committed to learning in the real world.
